Brand new- Bian Leather

Now yes there is a slight motive and a vested interest behind my love for this brand, it was started by one of my friend's mums and i worked with them towards my final major project for uni but all that aside there's a lot to boast about with Bian Leather.

As some of you luxury handbag lovers may have noticed beloved Mulberry have somewhat lost their touch with reality and the amount a bag should cost, although their bags are stunningly beautiful the price of a basic Bayswater is now £895 and slowly slipping away from fantasies. This is where Bian Leather comes in as they are aiming at the Mulberry lovers market and at a lower price!

As part of my final major project at Uni i put together collection ideas and marketing examples for Bian Leather from the pieces that have already been produced. All the bags are made for a practical purpose and all the ideas have sprung from the founder, Sue Donald's love for luxury leather bags and not being able to find bags that were both practical and stylish in order to meet her needs. My personal favourite is a big and baggy leather backpack she made, its bang on trend for this year and is easily styled with any outfit day to night. Check out some of the images below of bags from the debut collection.

The official website should be launching within the next few months and they have an Instagram site which i will pop the links for these down below. Get shopping!

Met Gala Fashion

As many avid fashion followers will know the Met Gala (formally known as the Costume Institute Gala) took place earlier this week. Known for being one of the most exclusive social events in New York if theres any time celebrities want to get it right, its here!

There was the good, the bad, and some a bit ugly but the catwalk saw some amazing looks from Beyonce in Givenchy to Kendall Jenner in Bespoke Topshop!? Here is some of my favourite outfit picks and trends from the night.

And finally best and worst dressed are the toughest titles but there was definitely some very choice outfits walking that red carpet. After topping my last 'Fashion woman of the week' post the beautiful Kate Upton seems to have lost her way, i'm a huge Dolce and Gabbana fan and their fairy tale creations from both SS14 and AW14  would of been perfect but the black spanish dancer style number just didn't really cut it for me. Best dresser in my opinion has to go to the gorgeous Dita Von Teese who just oozes femininity and stunned in a nude and red Zac Posen number.
