Fashion man of the week- Tinie Tempah

To be honest this post is completely wrongly titled, it should be titled 'Fashion man of the year, every year' because for me that's exactly what Tinie Tempah is, i'd probably even go as far as saying he's in my opinion one of the best dressed men in music/fashion.

His perfectly balanced combination of street style and classic designer tailoring is key and never fails to excite me when i see pictures in the press. Once quoted as saying he always flys long haul wearing a Ralph Lauren tracksuit and his favourite luggage is Louis Vuitton, can we blame him, i mean yeh it sounds a bit like high end typical tack but wouldn't it be most peoples guilty pleasures if they could afford it? And if Burberry's very own Christopher Bailey has given his stamp of approval, with Tinie popping up in the front row at LFW shows, who are we to judge?

No doubt he makes some risky choices in the fashion stakes but definitely exsudes the swagger ( yes i hate that word but there is no better use for it) to pull it off. From the bright red suit he was pictured in at a London collections: Men party in 2013 to an extremely choice orange puffer style tracksuit i once saw him on tv wearing all can be forgiven because it just works. It's probably even more enticing that he actually knows about fashion and takes a genuine interest, he has his own fashion label under the same name as his record company 'Disturbing London' which he designed some of the clothing for himself.

Watch the video below to see him talk a bit more about his eclectic style with another one of my fashion favourites, Reggie Yates.

Fashion woman of the week- Kate Upton

I'd love to say i discovered Kate Upton when i was flicking through the pages of Vogue magazine but unfortunately this isn't the case. An ex of mine showed me her infamous 'Cat daddy' video and described her as 'the ultimate woman' and to be honest i can't blame him.

21 years old, a size 10 and one of the freshest faces to grace catwalks and magazine covers in the past 12 months Kate Upton is a the ultimate face of the new age of the supermodel. Kate first really burst on the public radar as the cover star of Sport Illustrated two years in a row, a title which has only been achieved by the modelling icons Tyra Banks and Elle McPherson. From then she's gone from strength to strength and has appeared on the covers of both British and American Vogue.

Now i know many people might google her name and a load of pictures with her well known assets might appear but in my opinion, if you've got it flaunt it, and it always helps if you've got the face to match!

In the style stakes she's also proving a front runner for me, for a 21 year old ( i am still in complete disbelief she's younger than me!) she's got a classic sense of style and never fails to look classy even when her neck line is low enough to leave nothing to imagination. Whether she's self styled, which i doubt, or has someone on hand she nails classic looks from the cocktail dress to the tweed jacket. For gods sake she even pulls off a bloody puffer jacket in comparison to most people in their 20s who are reminiscent of Bianca from Eastenders....

I am in no doubt that when we reflect upon the supermodels of the 2000s the image of Kate Upton will resemble the love people have for Kate Moss and Christy Turlington from the 90s, i mean doesn't everyone love a blonde?

Liberty x Nike

I'm a self confessed Libertys of London addict (I probably go there twice a week when i'm in London and make a purchase each time...oops) i love everything about the brand, the building, the prints and in particular their seasonal collaborations with Nike!

I'm also a self confessed lover of trainers, i'm known to own far too many pairs of trainers by all my friends who all tell me to stop spending money which i actually don't have, but theres just something especially with Nike Air Max i can't resist. Now i know the Air Max trend was something that really first took off with the fashion masses last year and if i'm honest i thought it would of died out a bit by now, but much to my delight it's still going strong and i'm three pairs in!

I bought my first pair of Air Max last summer when i completely fell in love with the Liberty x Nike Spring/Summer 2013 collection, unfortunately they all sold out in store and through Liberty's online but carrying a hefty price tag i did create my own beautiful pair using another liberty seasonal print on Nike ID, a great personalised service and a purchase i will never regret!

The latest range from this brilliant collaboration was launched in-store and online on Monday 7th April. The collection includes 5 of Nike's most popular styles in main two colour ways and two variations on the blue liberty print that has been chosen for this seasons collection.

When i popped into store today i overheard that there was only one pair 'Internationalist trainer' left and almost all of the others were close to selling out. This is also the case online with currently only the two varieties of 'Dunk sky high wedge' trainers left in limited sizing! No doubt they will do a restock at some point so it's best to keep an eye out as this collection sells out every season. Currently on the Nike website the option to customise through Nike ID with this seasons newest Liberty prints is not available but will probably be released over the next few weeks as the collection was only came out on Monday.

In my personal opinion the collaboration of these two brands can do no wrong, it excites me every season for the pure reason who doesn't love trainers that are that god damn pretty! Although it carries a bit of a steep price tag i think something as stand out as this is worth investing in for the upcoming season as it looks like the trend for trainers is going no where fast!

Fashion Woman of the week- Sasha Keable

Signed to Tinie Tempah's record label 'Disturbing London' and recently fresh off tour with red haired street style goddess Katy B, Sasha Keable is a pretty new style icon for me. One of the first things i do when i find someone is usually follow them on instagram and basically stalk their style, and of course with Sasha the easiest thing to do was to youtube her as well...this is where she secured herself in my fashion stakes!

Sold out Acne watercolour flower sweatshirt

You might recognise her voice from the brilliant 'Voices' track with the Disclosure boys and i am completely loving her first single 'Careless over you'. Since undertaking my first Fashion PR intern placement last summer i got into the habit of knowing some of my best loved brands collections so well i can stop them anywhere i go, and in the video above i instantly loved Sasha's style as soon as i spotted that grey watercolour flower last season Acne jumper! The mixture of high end luxury (check out the picture of the most beautiful Chanel bag on her insta), the sickest acrylic nails and hair that never looks wrong no matter what colour she dyes it this girls got her own style down to a tee and is definitely one to watch for the future.

She is currently featured in the 16th issue of TrendsetUK magazine which is definitely one to check out.

First post introductions

So i'll start with the basics...

My name is Rhiannon, i'm 22 and currently about 5 weeks off finishing my third and final year at Southampton Solent University studying Ba (Hons) Fashion Management with Marketing. I obviously live in Southampton at the moment near uni with 4 of my best friends in a dodgy little house but we love it. Most of my home time is split between London and Worthing, clearly London is the slightly more exciting option!

My blog is generally going to be based around fashion, i've always had an interest in it and from studying it as a degree its basically taken over most of my life for the past three years, i'm not complaining as most of my 'studying' has involved shopping trips. I never really read any blogs or watched any Vlogs until recently and just really decided to because a few of my house mates like them and i got fed up with having absolutely no idea who these people were who they talked about all the time. My blog will include all sorts of posts, from favourite men's and women's wear styling to my personal experiences working as a Fashion PR intern.

So here it goes....
